Thought for the day May 14, 2008

What's important to you today?  The things that are important today probably haven't changed much since yesterday; but what's urgent has almost certainly changed.

The urgent always gains precedence over the important, even though it's not as important to us in the long run.

Don't get overrun by the urgent to the point that you lose the ability to do what's important to you.  Always set aside some time for the important things of God and family, no matter how much urgency is confronting you each day.
